Generali Indonesia Ends Health Roadshow in Palembang

As part of its 17th anniversary celebrations, Generali Indonesia concluded its Generali Health Cities roadshow with a final stop in Palembang, marking the end of a month-long health outreach tour that ran from June to August 2025. The initiative aimed to improve access to preventive healthcare services by offering comprehensive check-ups, such as medical assessments (MCU), body mass index (BMI) measurements, respiratory and eye tests, electrocardiograms (EKG), and free consultations with doctors, through partnerships with hospitals and trusted healthcare networks. The program toured 17 major Indonesian cities, including Bandung, Medan, Jakarta, Surabaya, Jayapura, and Palembang, the latter serving as the closing venue. The roadshow engaged thousands of participants and volunteers and aligned with Generali’s presence in over 35 cities supported by thousands of licensed, professional agents.

Generali Indonesia CEO, Rebecca Tan, emphasized that this campaign, dubbed Generali Health Cities, was a gesture of gratitude and a demonstration of its commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen. The company continues to promote health awareness. The roadshow also featured health talks on evolving health trends, and participants were invited to contribute to The Human Safety Net (THSN), Generali’s global philanthropic initiative. Donations collected during the events were directed to support vulnerable families via partners like the Yayasan Jarimatika. By raising awareness of early detection of non-communicable diseases (e.g., heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, cancer), the program reinforced the importance of regular preventive check-ups, especially given that only three out of ten such cases are typically diagnosed early enough.
