PT. Asuransi Jiwa Generali Indonesia (Generali Indonesia) for the 8th time has again become the Official Insurance Partner of Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon 2025. The company will provide life insurance and hospital care for 10,500 participants, due to accidents including various risks directly related to running during the event. The collaboration between Generali Indonesia and Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon was announced at the Launching of Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon 2025 on May 23rd, 2025 at the Amphitheater, Borobudur Museum and Art Village, Magelang. Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon 2025 will be held on November 16th, 2025 at Lumbini Park, Borobudur Temple Area, with three categories, namely 10K, Half Marathon (HM) and Marathon (FM). Almost entering a decade of its implementation, the Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon has received international recognition with the 'World Athletics' label, which confirms that the Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon is a classy and internationally standardized competitive event, while also successfully providing a long-term impact on the community.
President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Generali Indonesia, Rebecca Tan, said that the eight years of collaboration between Generali Indonesia and the Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon are proof of the company's commitment to encouraging a healthier and more productive society. "Through running sports events, Generali Indonesia has protected almost 70,000 runners in various athletic events, including the Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon," he said as quoted from an official statement, Monday, May 26th, 2025. In this year's implementation, the Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon 2025 took the theme 'Stride to Glory' which is interpreted as a journey full of enthusiasm to achieve success or an achievement. This is also in line with the spirit that Generali Indonesia always echoes, namely the company always supports every step of its customers to achieve their dreams and create a safer future through insurance protection.
