In May 2023, PT Piaggio Indonesia organized a track day event in collaboration with the Aprilia brand at the International Circuit Pertamina Mandalika, West Nusa Tenggara. Participants were given the opportunity to experience the racing DNA of Aprilia, riding the Aprilia RS 660 and Aprilia Tuono 660 on the race track. The event emphasized the importance of safety and following racing rules while providing riders with the excitement and thrill of high-speed racing.
During the track day, participants were equipped with appropriate gear for safety and style. They wore full-face helmets for comprehensive head and face protection, including the jaw, to minimize the risk of injuries. The use of photochromic visors helped reduce the intensity of sunlight entering the eyes. Additionally, they wore full body protector wearpacks to prevent injuries, and specialized gloves and racing shoes for extra protection and grip on the track.
