The second edition of the Italian Film Festival in Indonesia returns in 2023. The Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Jakarta are pleased to present a selection of eight recent films from January 21st to January 29th. Thanks to the renewed collaboration with Cinecittà, Rome it was possible to realize this second major appointment with Italian cinema, which was awarded in the most important national and international festivals.
Compared to 2021, the public will be able to watch the eight films this year in presence with screenings at CGV Grand Indonesia and the Italian Cultural Institute in Jakarta and at the Institut Français d’Indonésie in Yogyakarta.
With this selection of films, produced between 2021 and 2022, we wanted to offer to the Indonesian public the recent film production, created by directors and screenwriters who wanted to illustrate the modern and contemporary Italy in its various facets, represented through its protagonists, interpreters of true or imaginary reality.
