The Indonesian government showcased a wide range of local food and beverage products at SIAL Shanghai 2026, one of Asia’s largest international food industry exhibitions held in China. Vice Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri stated that the event serves as a strategic platform to strengthen Indonesia’s global market presence, expand export opportunities, and build international business partnerships.
The Indonesian Pavilion featured products from 17 companies, including coffee, spices, palm sugar, cocoa products, snacks, and coconut-based goods. During the exhibition, five cooperation agreements worth USD 3.55 million were signed, reflecting growing global interest in Indonesian products. The government also emphasized the importance of maintaining product quality, food safety, and international standards to enhance Indonesia’s competitiveness in the global food and beverage industry.
