Indonesia’s Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, stated that investment played a key role in supporting the country’s economic growth, which reached 5.61% year-on-year in Q1 2026. He noted that investment contributed around 32% to total economic growth, higher than the historical range of 28–29%, reflecting stronger investor confidence and improved capital inflows.
Rosan emphasized that this rising contribution highlights the increasing importance of investment as a foundation for Indonesia’s economic expansion. He added that sustained investment growth not only strengthens economic resilience but also supports long-term and more balanced development across sectors.
