Indonesia is strengthening its economic diplomacy by positioning Poland as a strategic gateway to expand trade, tourism, and investment across Europe. Through business forums held in Krakow and Łódź in April 2026, the Indonesian Embassy in Warsaw promoted Indonesia as both a dynamic market and a growth hub for Polish partners in the Indo-Pacific region. The initiative highlights Indonesia’s young and productive workforce, as well as opportunities for talent exchange and vocational collaboration, aligning with Poland’s evolving economic needs.
The upcoming Indonesia–EU Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA), targeted for implementation in 2027, is expected to eliminate tariffs on 90% of Indonesian products entering the European market, further enhancing trade potential. With Poland’s steady economic growth—reaching 3.6% in 2025 and projected 3.9% in 2026—and strong purchasing power, Indonesia sees significant export opportunities. Meanwhile, Indonesia recorded investment realization of IDR 1,931.2 trillion in 2025, growing 12.7% year-on-year, with cooperation prospects spanning manufacturing, renewable energy, food processing, and technology. Strong interest from Polish stakeholders reflects growing confidence in Indonesia’s economic potential and future partnerships.
