Indonesian fashion and accessory products are projected to generate around IDR 17 billion (USD 1 million) in potential transactions following their participation in a promotional event held in Kobe, Japan. The showcase highlighted Indonesia’s growing competitiveness in a demanding international market known for its high standards, with deals initiated through strategic partnerships between Indonesian and Japanese companies.
The event featured 16 Indonesian brands spanning fashion, accessories, and jewelry, emphasizing quality, cultural identity, and innovative design. Officials noted that this achievement reflects increasing global acceptance of Indonesian creative products and marks a positive step toward expanding market access in Japan. Strengthened collaboration between trade representatives and businesses is expected to further boost exports and deepen economic ties between the two countries.
