Indonesia’s poultry exports reached IDR 18.2 billion (around USD 1 million) as of March 2026, reflecting a robust production surplus and increasing global competitiveness. A total of 545 tons of poultry products were exported to markets such as Singapore, Japan, and Timor-Leste, with eggs dominating shipments at 517 tons, equivalent to about 8.13 million eggs.
The consistent growth trend highlights the country’s success in achieving self-sufficiency in poultry and eggs while expanding international market reach. Supported by strong domestic production and strategic market expansion, Indonesia is also shifting toward higher-value processed products, enhancing export value and strengthening its position in global trade without compromising domestic supply.
