Indonesia has strengthened its position as a dominant player in the global palm oil industry, controlling more than 60% of the market. This achievement is driven by strong export performance of crude palm oil (CPO) and its derivative products, reflecting the country’s growing influence in global supply chains. In early 2026, export value reached USD 4.69 billion, marking a 26.40% increase compared to the same period last year, alongside a significant rise in export volume.

The government continues to promote downstream processing to enhance added value, shifting from raw commodity exports to refined products such as food ingredients, cosmetics, and biofuels. This strategy not only strengthens Indonesia’s competitiveness but also positions the country as a key driver in meeting global demand, while supporting long-term economic growth and industrial development.
