The 2025 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia held at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit generated a significant economic impact of IDR 4.96 trillion, based on a study conducted by LETMI ITB. The event demonstrated that MotoGP in Mandalika is not only a global sporting attraction but also a strong contributor to both national and regional economic growth.

The race attracted over 140,000 spectators and drove hotel occupancy rates to 100% in Mandalika, with strong spillover effects across Lombok and Mataram. More than 600 local MSMEs participated, creating over 3,000 jobs, with the majority benefiting local communities. The event also strengthened Indonesia’s global image while accelerating the development of a sustainable sport tourism ecosystem led by InJourney Tourism Development Corporation.
