Indonesia continues strengthening its position in the global agricultural market by exporting 545 tons of poultry products valued at around IDR 18.2 billion. The shipments include chicken meat, eggs, and processed poultry products such as nuggets and sausages, destined for Singapore, Japan, and Timor-Leste. This initiative reflects the country’s growing production capacity and successful achievement of self-sufficiency in chicken meat and eggs, enabling the industry to expand confidently into international markets.
The export program involves several major national companies and highlights strong collaboration between the government and industry players. The initiative is expected to increase foreign exchange earnings, support job creation, and enhance the added value of Indonesian poultry products. By maintaining strict veterinary certification, traceability, and food safety standards, Indonesia aims to sustain international trust while continuing to broaden its export destinations and strengthen its competitiveness in the global food sector.
