The Ministry of Trade reported the success of the "UMKM Berani Inovasi, Siap Adaptasi Ekspor" (UMKM BISA Ekspor) program, which facilitated 1,217 business actors in conducting international transactions throughout 2025. The total transaction value reached US$134.87 million (over IDR 2 trillion), consisting of direct purchase orders and sustainable transaction potential. Food and beverage products were the most dominant commodities with nearly a 30 percent share, followed by plantation products, furniture, and textiles, which also saw high demand abroad. This success proves that local products possess high competitive quality and can meet international market standards in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Hungary, and South Korea.

For association members, this achievement serves as a positive signal to continue improving product quality and utilizing government-provided business matching facilities to reach international buyers. Mentorship strategies will be further strengthened in 2026 through the role of trade representatives abroad and participation in 178 recommended international exhibitions. In addition to expanding market access, the government is focusing on export sustainability to ensure MSMEs do not just ship once but become long-term partners for global buyers. With a strong spirit of innovation and adaptation, MSME actors are expected to become a new backbone for export-oriented national economic growth.
