According to the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Indonesia’s exports to the United States rose by 4.43% month-on-month in October 2025 and increased by 7.41% compared to the same month last year. The growth came even though several major export commodities saw declines — for example, monthly shipments of animal and vegetable fats and oils (HS15), toys and sporting goods (HS95), and seafood like fish, crustacea, and mollusks (HS03) dropped.
Despite the increase in exports to the U.S., overall Indonesian export value in October 2025 reached USD 24.24 billion — representing a 2.31% decrease year-on-year. The decline was largely driven by weaker performance in oil and gas exports: crude oil fell by 54.68%, refined oil by 40.11%, and gas by 26.20%. Meanwhile, non-oil & gas exports dipped slightly by 0.51%.
