The Deputy Minister of Trade, Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri, officially launched the export of home décor products from CV Palem Craft — a small and medium enterprise (SME) located in Trirenggo, Bantul, Yogyakarta — on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. The exported shipment is valued at USD 30,000. The destination markets include the United States, Belgium, and several other European countries.
According to the Deputy Minister, home décor exports have shown a promising trend: between January and September 2025, exports increased by approximately 5%, while from 2020 to 2024, the overall upward trend was nearly 20%. This achievement is a source of pride, demonstrating strong international interest in Indonesian products. The government’s support for SMEs aiming for export is consistent with its broader trade policy, and the fact that Palem Craft regularly exports — approximately USD 30,000 per month — suggests its products meet global demand in terms of quality and design.
