Regional, multi-sector cooperation among island provinces in Eastern Indonesia continues to be strengthened, involving Bali, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), and Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Following an initial agreement in Bali, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed in NTB.
The agreement targets five priority areas with major potential: tourism, energy, connectivity, trade, and export of flagship commodities. By combining strengths across these sectors, the three provinces aim to become a new driving force of economic growth in Eastern Indonesia, leveraging both their natural and geographic advantages as well as inter-regional collaboration.
