The central youth wing of Indonesia’s Pimpinan Pusat Angkatan Muda Partai Golkar (PP AMPG) has formalised an economic and educational cooperation with Malaysia’s Pemuda UMNO Malaysia during a meeting in Kuala Lumpur. According to PP AMPG Chair Said Aldi Al Idrus, the partnership aims to strengthen bilateral ties and support youth-led growth in both countries. He emphasised that this collaboration will not only promote economic initiatives but also humanitarian efforts, including aid to Palestine.
The agreement focuses particularly on empowering Indonesia’s small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) by engaging young entrepreneurs through programs for export-import, cooperatives, and export expansion. Meanwhile, the educational component includes training for religious teachers and scholarships for disadvantaged high-achieving students. PP AMPG views this cross-border initiative as a strategic move to tap into the potential of youth-business activity and ultimately create jobs that raise living standards.
