PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP) is committed to creating added value in line with DKI Jakarta's target of transforming itself into a global city. The Corporate Secretary and TJSL of PT JIEP Medik, Endra Wahyudi, explained that Jakarta has a long-term plan to become a Global City. Therefore, JIEP, as one of the government-owned enterprises under the Jakarta Provincial Government, is committed to developing industrial areas with higher added value, which can be digital in nature and reduce air pollution. The development of these areas has the potential to positively impact Jakarta's economy.
At present, JIEP is offering a range of services at reduced rates, including a 20% discount on certain public sports facilities, such as badminton halls, table tennis courts and studios. Additionally, JIEP provides spaces for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (UMKM), such as food centres. Furthermore, the company caters to the middle to upper-class segment by offering land and warehouses. In addition, the company is offering promotions and deals throughout the Jakarta Anniversary celebrations in June and July.
