PT Wahana Kemalaniaga Makmur (Wakeni) is holding four integrated cold chain industry exhibitions on May 7-10th, 2025, at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. This is done to build and strengthen the cold chain ecosystem in Indonesia, in line with the increasing export of seafood and meat products. Wakeni Director, Sofianto Widjaja said that this exhibition presents more than 250 participating companies from within and outside the country, including from Indonesia, China, Sweden, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, India, and South Korea with a target of more than 30 thousand professional visitors from the entire supply chain ecosystem. The largest Cold Chain and Logistics exhibition in Indonesia includes the International Indonesia Seafood & Meat (IISM) Expo, Indonesia Cold Chain Expo, Warehousing & Storage Handling Expo, and Indonesia Smart Logistics & Supply Chain Expo - which are present under one roof. Sofianto said that this exhibition carries the theme #WeAreColdChain, as an effort to unite all stakeholders to build a more efficient and resilient cold chain ecosystem."Hopefully this collaboration will strengthen the industry, especially in supporting national food security, reducing the potential for post-harvest loss, and expanding access for Indonesian products to export markets," he explained. Meanwhile, Head of Cold Chain Division of the Indonesian Logistics Actors Association, Tejo Mulyono, said that the progress of Indonesia's cold chain must go hand in hand with collaboration between private sector innovation and public policy direction. The four exhibitions present a series of comprehensive innovations in the cold chain business ecosystem.
