The Secretary of the Directorate General of National Export Development, Arief Wibisono, released the first export of Surabraja Sweet Soy Sauce products, manufactured by PT Siraj Badawi Cukup Rupiah, to Saudi Arabia, with a total export value of USD 27,255. This first export release is a follow-up to the 39th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) between PT Siraj Badawi Cukup Rupiah and CV Makmur Jaya Sentosa as an aggregator. It is expected that the export release of this sweet soy sauce product will stimulate market expansion for Indonesian products, leading to increased economic activity at the national and regional level. The support of various parties in realising the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) BISA export programme is a step that needs to be encouraged. Furthermore, in 2024, the value of Indonesia's non-oil and gas exports to Saudi Arabia was valued at USD 2.57 billion, a significant increase from 2023, when it was valued at USD 2.07 billion, or approximately 23.82%. Indonesia's leading export products to Saudi Arabia include food, beverages, textiles, furniture, and agricultural products.
