According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the export value of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province in June 2024 was USD 1,816,471, a decrease of 99.64% compared to May 2024, which was USD 503,018,888. The export value for June 2024 also saw a 33.17% decline compared to June 2023, when it stood at USD 2,718,119. Wahyudin, Head of BPS NTB, reported on Monday, July 15, 2024, that the largest export destination for NTB in June 2024 was the United States, with an export value of USD 1,114,162, accounting for 61.34% of the total exports. The second-largest destination was Hong Kong with USD 308,902 (17.01%), followed by China with USD 193,948 (10.68%), Japan with USD 82,009 (4.51%), and South Korea with USD 29,134 (1.60%). Exports to other countries comprised only 4.86% of the total export value.

The largest commodity group exported by NTB in June 2024 was Fish and Shrimp, valued at USD 1,046,852 (57.63%). This was followed by Jewelry/Gems at USD 469,743 (25.86%), Salt, Sulfur, Lime at USD 179,197 (9.87%), Processed Meat and Fish at USD 83,512 (4.60%), Electrical Machinery/Equipment at USD 28,125 (1.55%), and Oil Seeds at USD 8,682 (0.48%). The primary export destinations for the Fish and Shrimp commodity group in June 2024 were the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan. Jewelry/Gems were primarily exported to Hong Kong, Japan, China, and other countries. Exports of Salt, Sulfur, Lime were directed to China, South Korea, Thailand, and others. The Processed Meat and Fish commodity group was mainly exported to the United States.
