Their aspirations were fulfilled as official 2022 numbers revealed a robust and articulate performance: EUR 7.3 billion in revenue (a 20% growth) and an export value of EUR 3.7 billion, a historical high that reaffirms Italy's enviable position on the global stage. Notably, more than 400 of the 821 'over 24 meters' yachts produced worldwide are conceived, designed, and built by Italian companies and organizations. This industry contributes 6.1 billion euros to the national GDP, a significant increase from the previous 2.89% to the current 3.23%, and it also experiences an upward employment trend, providing jobs for 200,000 people.
