The Chairman of the Village Institution of Negeri Oma Maluku stated that the aroma and benefits of clove oil have captured the attention of buyers from various regions, including foreign countries. In addition to Indonesia, some people from the Netherlands have purchased our products. On the 27th and 28th, they will arrive in Maluku, specifically in Ambon, to visit the production facility. Clove oil has been marketed extensively. In Jakarta, The Chairman stated that they have family members who order it for sale in Jakarta and Papua. The Chairman also mentioned that the development of clove oil production is closely linked to the support from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK). The KLHK has provided several production tools for clove oil producers in Maluku.
In terms of benefits, he stated that clove oil offers several health benefits, such as treating toothaches, muscle aches, indigestion, and itching. As additional information, the Environmental, Climate, Forestry, and New Renewable Energy Festival (LIKE), organised by the KLHK, is taking place from September 16 to 18, 2023. The festival's theme is 'Prosperous Society, Sustainable Environment.'
