This industry really contributes to economic growth in Yogyakarta, because it absorbs a lot of local workers and of course contributes a lot to the state's share of its exported products. One of the glove producing companies in Yogyakarta is PT Marvel Sport Internasional. The company, which is located in Sedayu District, Bantul Yogyarta, is exporting another 40-foot container of its products to Europe with an export value of USD 166,178 or approximately IDR 2.5 billion. The products exported this time were ski gloves and winter gloves with the destination country Sweden and departed via Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang on September 3, 2023.
As an independent bonded area, exports are no longer directly supervised by Yogyakarta Customs officials. Document signing, stuffing supervision, and container sealing are no longer carried out by Yogyakarta Customs officers, but are carried out by the company itself.
