Indonesian Fisheries Records Sales of IDR 248 Billion in First Semester of 2023

PT Perikanan Indonesia (Persero), a member of the ID FOOD food holding, reported sales of IDR 248 billion in the first semester of 2023. This represents a 10% growth compared to the same period last year. The CEO of Perikanan Indonesia, attributed this increase in sales to growth in the Fish Processing and Trading segment as well as sales from the feed factory, which has started to recover. Looking ahead, Perikanan Indonesia will focus on improving performance and achieving the Company's Work Plan and Budget (RKAP) for 2023 in the second semester. For the expansion plan in the second semester, the company will continue the program for the Optimization of the Nizam Zachman Port Area, measured fish catches, and the optimization of the modern Muara Baru fish market.

Previously, from August 23 to August 25, 2023, Perikanan Indonesia had signed cooperation agreements with six Chinese companies, including Shanggang-Edi China Trading Co. Ltd., Tiancheng (Shanghai) Supply Chain Services Co., Ltd, and Shanghai Seafirst Co., Ltd, related to the integrated seafood product business development. Additionally, Perikanan Indonesia also collaborated with other companies such as Lygend Resources & Technology Co., Ltd, Zhejiang Ocean Fisheries Co., Ltd, and Matrix Resources Co., Ltd, regarding operational cooperation in the development of fisheries ports and measured fish-catching programs. Seeing these positive financial records, Sigit stated that Perikanan Indonesia targets revenue of IDR 698 billion by the end of 2023, with an EBITDA of IDR 51.3 billion. This includes IDR 451 billion from fish processing and trading, IDR 184 billion from port services, and IDR 61 billion from feed factories. This target is higher than the RKAP target set at IDR 624 billion.
