The peak of CJIBF 2023 activities will take place at Lumbini Park, Borobudur Temple Tourism Park, Magelang, Central Java, August 21-22, 2023. Head of BI Central Java Representative Rahmat Dwisaputra, in Borobudur, Monday night, said that CJIBF is a form of synergy from the local government, BI and business actors in increasing investment growth to encourage sustainable economic growth. This year marks the seventh time CJIBF has been held since it was first held in 2017. Various activities fill CJIBF 2023, ranging from business forums, "One on One Meeting", "Investor Dinner", to "Investment Tour". This year's CJIBF raised the theme "Circular Economy for Central Java Sustainable Growth" to encourage investment as part of driving sustainable economic growth in Central Java.
BI Senior Deputy Governor Destry Damayanti said that BI encourages economic players to transform towards a "Net Zero Emission" economy through green economy policies. In Central Java, he said, one form of BI's support for the green economy is carried out through the implementation of low-carbon development in the energy sector and MSMEs. Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of Commission XI of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia Fathan Subchi said that Central Java must increase competitiveness in order to race at the national, even global level.
