The Ministry of Industry intensively runs the increasing the Use of Domestic Products (P3DN) program as an effort to increase the productivity of industry players in the country. This strategic program will also have a positive impact on spurring the wheels of the national economy. One of its effort is carried out by the Directorate General of Metal, Machinery, Transportation Equipment, and Electronics Industry (ILMATE) through the implementation of Business Matching Electronics and Telecommunication Equipment activities at the Indonesia Internet Expo & Summit (IIXS) exhibition on August 10-12, 2023 at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran.
The implementation of business matching aims to encourage the implementation of the absorption of domestic products, especially electronic products such as laptoops, mobile phones, computers to digital software. This activity is important to do, considering that digital transformation continues to be promoted by the government in various sectors. Electronic industry is one of the sectors that gets development priorities in accordance with the Making Indonesia 4.0 road map. This is because the electronics industry is considered capable of making a significant contribution to the national economy.
The IIXS 2023 exhibition event is also equipped with a P3DN coaching desk to provide opportunities for participants present, both from Ministries/Institutions, SOEs to Regional Governments to consult directly regarding the procurement of goods and services within the scope of their agencies or companies. Various latest information can be found at this coaching desk, such as product data that has been TKDN certified, e-catalogs, list of names of domestic provider companies, and various other information.
