The underperformance of the equestrian sport has raised concerns among various parties, prompting a call for swift improvements to elevate its prestige and global recognition. To address this issue, Aryo Djojohadikusumo, the Chairman of the Equestrian Sports Association of Indonesia (Pordasi) DKI Jakarta, has taken a unique approach and vision to revitalize horse racing in the country. Recognizing its potential to attract tourists, Aryo Djojohadikusumo established Sarga.co, an organizer of horse racing championships, aiming to excel in the equestrian sports industry and generate public interest.

Moreover, horse racing holds the potential to enhance Indonesia's tourism appeal. "This will be a crucial step in developing the horse racing industry to create new economic opportunities in sports, culture, and Indonesian tourism," Aryo Djojohadikusumo stated during a collaboration event with BMW Motorrad Indonesia at the National Polo Club in Cibinong, West Java, on Sunday (August 6, 2023).

"This endeavor is expected to bolster the horse racing industry, making it stronger and more appealing to the Indonesian populace," he emphasized. He acknowledged that horse racing championships also hold significant traditional value in several regions of Indonesia. "Our hope is to maintain these values through various horse racing championship initiatives in the coming years," he added.

Meanwhile, Josef Setiawan Amarianto, the COO of BMW Motorrad Indonesia, revealed that details of the support provided for the sport are still confidential. "The nature of our support will be disclosed later," he commented.
