Bank Indonesia Representative Office of South Sulawesi (BI Sulsel) has been providing support and assistance to over 100 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises MSMEs across 24 regencies/cities that have the potential for exportable products. The support and assistance provided can take various forms, such as aiding in the development of human resources capacity, creating packaging that meets international standards, and offering other forms of assistance. One of the MSMEs receiving assistance from BI Sulsel is located in Soppeng Regency, specifically in Kampung Sampetedonge.

This UMKM, named Cantika Sabbena, not only offers premium silk products with export potential but also provides a clean and refreshing environment for visitors. The location has also become a tourist destination, allowing visitors to learn about the silk-making process from start to finish. South Sulawesi holds numerous potential foreign markets beyond silk products. In the agricultural sector, several derivative commodities are being developed by MSMEs in the field, such as cashew nuts, coffee, cocoa, cloves, and others.
