Current Investment In The Super-Priority Tourism Destination (DPSP) of Lake Toba Reach IDR 600 Billion

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy stated that the current green investment in the super-priority tourism destination (DPSP) of Lake Toba, North Sumatra, has reached Rp 600 billion for several hotels. Based on the data presented, the realized investment value for tourism destinations, namely Mandalika in West Nusa Tenggara for the period of 2021-2023, Q2, originating from domestic and foreign investors, reached USD 541.2 million. Following Mandalika, Likupang in North Sulawesi recorded an investment realization of USD 484.29 million. Furthermore, Candi Borobudur in Central Java achieved a realized investment of USD 366.63 million, while Labuan Bajo in East Nusa Tenggara registered an investment realization of USD 114.2 million.

The Ministry are planning to create a program to ensure that investments are distributed evenly among the five super-priority tourism destinations (DPSP).
