The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Windhoek, Namibia, has successfully participated in the largest trade fair in Angola, Feira Internacional de Luanda (FILDA), held at the ZEE – Special Economic Zone, Luanda. The FILDA event was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Angola. KBRI Windhoek actively participated in FILDA with the aim of expanding and enhancing market access for Indonesian products in Angola. The KBRI booth, filled with top-notch products from 11 leading Indonesian companies, attracted the attention of thousands of visitors. Three companies, namely PT Tunas Baru Lampung, PT Gajah Tunggal, and Mensa Group, were present at the event in person, while eight other companies, such as PT Sumber Kopi Prima, PT Kino Indonesia, and PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia, showcased samples of their products at the Indonesian booth.
This year's FILDA exhibition carried the theme "Digital Economy: The New Frontier of the World Economy" and drew the interest of numerous business players from various countries. Over 1,500 business participants took part in the 38th edition of this prestigious event. Various high-quality Indonesian products garnered significant interest from FILDA visitors. Palm oil, biscuits, tires, instant coffee, and stationary products were among the items that attracted importers from Angola. The active participation of KBRI Windhoek and Indonesian companies made a positive contribution to strengthening the bilateral economic ties between Indonesia and Angola. KBRI Windhoek's participation in FILDA not only exemplifies economic diplomacy but also represents tangible efforts to expand market share and create mutually beneficial business cooperation between Indonesia and Angola. It is hoped that the presence of these high-quality Indonesian products will continue to gain attention in the international market and bring sustained economic benefits to both nations.
