The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government is focusing on optimizing the use of the Inaexport platform to boost export activities in the region. They are conducting workshops and seminars to raise awareness among local businesses, especially those in the industrial sector, about the benefits and opportunities provided by the platform.
Inaexport is an official business-to-business platform developed by the Indonesian government to provide integrated services and information for exporters, helping them find export opportunities and expand their businesses. The government hopes that by utilizing this platform, more small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will be able to engage in exports, contributing to the improvement of foreign trade in Central Kalimantan and increasing the region's contribution to the national economy.
The focus is on promoting export-oriented SMEs and providing them with tools and resources to enhance their capabilities in the global market. The government also aims to facilitate trade and strengthen the province's role as a major contributor to Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves, primarily through the export of minerals and coal, as well as palm oil and its derivatives. Additionally, the use of export insurance is encouraged to mitigate risks and provide financial protection to exporters in case of non-payment by foreign buyers due to commercial or political risks. The government believes that these efforts will result in a more robust and prosperous export sector in Central Kalimantan.
