Governor of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Dr. H Zulkieflimansyah, fully supports the efforts of standardizing fashion sizes initiated by the Indonesian Fashion Designer and Entrepreneur Association (APPMI) during the 11th National Work Meeting (Rakernas) held at Merumatta Hotel, Senggigi on July 22-23, 2023. He believes that with proper standardization, the national identity in Indonesian fashion products can be strengthened, and the fashion industry in the country can proudly shine on the international stage. After the Rakernas event, the Governor also encouraged the participants to visit various tourist destinations in NTB, such as Sembalun, Narmada Park, Gili Trawangan, Bukit 360, and others.
Poppy Dharsono, the Chairman of APPMI, revealed that NTB, as the host of the event, is ranked third in the index of cultural development after Yogyakarta and Bali. She hopes that the natural beauty and rich culture of NTB will inspire fashion entrepreneurs from 20 provinces who attended the event.
