The Lombok International Modest Fashion Festival (LIMOFF) was successfully held in Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), Indonesia, in collaboration with the Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC) from July 6th to 9th, 2023. This first-ever international fashion event in NTB showcased more than 900 collections from 109 renowned fashion designers. LIMOFF integrated various activities, including fashion shows, workshops, competitions, talk shows, and international standard exhibitions, highlighting not only fashion but also other leading creative industries in NTB, such as tourism, handicrafts, beauty, and halal cuisine.
With the theme "Making Lombok Sumbawa as Gateway to Global Market," LIMOFF aimed to develop the local fashion and creative industry, boost the local economy, and establish NTB as a national modest fashion hub. This event was a platform to promote and celebrate NTB's cultural richness and the creative potential of the fashion sector, elevating the Indonesian fashion industry to an international level. LIMOFF showcased the diversity of modest fashion styles, featuring NTB's traditional weavings and fabrics, and welcomed designers from both local and international origins, fostering collaborations and new opportunities for the creative industry in NTB.
