The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Southeast Sulawesi Province promoted the culture and products of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Southeast Sulawesi at the 42nd Lotus Festival held at Eco Park Los Angeles, California, United States.  During this international event, The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Southeast Sulawesi aimed to promote both the cultural heritage and investment opportunities of Southeast Sulawesi to the public. In terms of culture, The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Southeast Sulawesi showcased several traditional dances performed by Kendari State Junior High School. Students from Kendari had the opportunity to perform dances such as Tari Wetina, Tari Balumpa, Tari Lariangi, and Tari Lulo. Beside that, The Chamber of Commerce and Industry also introduced various cultural treasures.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry participation in the 42nd Lotus Festival was a form of support for the Provincial Government of Sulawesi Tenggara, which was directly invited by the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Los Angeles, United States. Southeast Sulawesi 's potential is not only its natural resources but also its cultural and tourism sectors, which can contribute to the advancement of the local economy. As additional information, during the 42nd Lotus Festival, The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Southeast Sulawesi also presented samples of nickel, including Nickel Ore, Ferro Nickel, Nickel MHP, and other types. These nickel samples were introduced to visitors as investment attractions.
