The Mayor of Palangka Raya participated in the Indonesia Go Expo Istanbul 2023 event in Turkey. The Mayor's delegation was also joined by several Heads of Departments within the Palangka Raya City Government. The Indonesia Go Expo Istanbul 2023 event in Turkey, with the theme 'Smart Economy Smart Future: the Biggest Indonesia Trading Expo in the World’. The Mayor of Palangka Raya stated that this event is a highly strategic step in boosting the economy of businesses in Palangka Raya City. Through this event, the outstanding products of SMEs are introduced to the global community.

The Mayor expressed that through this event, the outstanding SME products of Palangka Raya City can gain widespread recognition, thus positively impacting the economic growth of businesses in the beautiful city of Palangka Raya. The Mayor also mentioned that the delegation to Turkey obtained an official delegation letter and permission from the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs, the Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia, the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, and the Governor of Central Kalimantan. The assignment expenses are covered by the Palangka Raya City Regional Budget (APBD) for the fiscal year 2023.
