The quality of Jember cigars is no longer in doubt and has gained recognition even in foreign markets. Jember Customs and Excise Office once again facilitated the independent export of cigars produced by CV Dwipa Nuasantara Tobacco to Malaysia. A total of 820 cigars were exported, with an estimated export value of IDR 29,000,000.00. The Head of Jember Customs and Excise Office, stated that this export is the second realization. Previously, The Jember Customs and Excise Office also facilitated the inaugural export of cigars from CV Dwipa Nusantara Tobacco on May 10th, 2023. Jember Customs and Excise Office also expressed hope that this export can continue and expand its market share in the future.
As a manifestation of collaborative synergy with relevant agencies to support the development of local potential, the export activity was attended by the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Police in Jember. Realizing the export is indeed commendable, but we as exporter must still pay attention to quality, quantity, and continuity to further improve the achievements. Jember Customs and Excise Office is always ready to assist and provide assistance through the Export Clinic team if needed.
