Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan emphasized the importance of cooperation between the central and regional governments to boost exports, including those from the province of Jambi. During the One-Day Event with Jambi held in Jakarta, Minister Zulkifli Hasan stated that collaboration between the central and regional governments is crucial for increasing Jambi's exports. He mentioned that the central government has established trade agreements with countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Middle Eastern countries, providing toll ways for exports from Jambi without tariffs.Minister Zulkifli Hasan also announced that the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) will be held annually in October 2023, inviting up to 180 buyers from around the world. The TEI serves as a platform to promote and boost exports of excellent products. He expressed his hope that the One-Day Event with Jambi would introduce Jambi's flagship products to a wider audience, highlighting Jambi's abundant natural resources, including plantations, mining, and agriculture. The Minister praised Governor Al Haris for Jambi's economic growth, with a growth rate above 5% and inflation below the national average at 1.9%.
