The Commercial and Development Director stated that Indonesia has a diverse marine biodiversity with various seaweed species suitable for cultivation, including Seaweed Eucheuma Cottoni, Seaweed Eucheuma Spinosum, and Seaweed Gracilaria Sp. PPI is committed to expanding the seaweed export business by promoting international trade within the global value chain. PPI collaborated with CV Delton to explore export markets for seaweed products, along with working with local farmers to stimulate national economic growth and showcase Indonesia's commodity potential in meeting the demand for seaweed overseas. In the future, PPI will continue to develop other export potentials from Indonesia to China, leveraging its position within the ID Food state-owned enterprise as a trade and logistics aggregator.
