The West Sulawesi Provincial Government is providing support to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in exporting fish floss to Australia to meet the demand of the Australian market. Acting Governor of West Sulawesi, Zudan Arif Fakhrullah, stated that the MSMEs in West Sulawesi have prepared 500 kilograms of fish floss for export to Australia. The initial export will consist of 5.000 packages, and if the cooperation goes smoothly, the quantity will be increased. The MSME involved in this international market penetration is Syakila, located in Majene Regency. The Governor expressed pride in the export of fish floss from West Sulawesi to Australia by Syakila, considering it a remarkable achievement.
The provincial government will assist in the necessary permits and facilitate the required documents for the export of fish floss. Furthermore, the government of West Sulawesi is committed to supporting and fulfilling the equipment and developmental needs of the MSMEs to further advance their businesses. The Governor also hopes that the people of West Sulawesi will support the growth of the local economy by purchasing products from MSMEs in the region, thereby promoting regional economic development.
