Digitization has become a global trend over the past decade and continues to be a driving force for the world economy. The government is actively facilitating the adoption and utilization of digitization. In the manufacturing sector, digital transformation has significantly increased the use of technology, improving productivity and industry competitiveness. The Ministry of Industry is specifically supporting the domestic Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry to enhance its global market competitiveness as part of the Making Indonesia 4.0 program.

To achieve this, the Ministry of Industry is assisting Indonesian ICT companies in participating in the prestigious CommunicAsia 2023 exhibition in Singapore. CommunicAsia is a prominent platform in Asia for showcasing the latest technologies in 5G, broadband, FTTx services, and satellite communications. Seven Indonesian ICT companies have been selected to promote their exceptional ICT products at the event. This exhibition not only allows them to introduce national industrial products, services, and technologies to the international market but also strengthens global business networks and provides opportunities for business, investment, and collaboration.

The participation of the national industry in CommunicAsia 2023 aligns with the government's goal of increasing the contribution of high-tech industrial product exports to 13% by 2024. The Ministry of Industry aims to revitalize the processing industry, promote diversification of non-commodity export products, and emphasize high-tech manufacturing products. Utilizing innovative approaches and optimizing high-tech ICT products, which require intensive research and development, are crucial steps to enhance exports and drive the growth of Indonesia's manufacturing sector in the global market.
