Various efforts are being made by Customs and Excise units in different regions to assist micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in realizing the export of their products. For example, Customs and Excise Banjarmasin conducted export assistance, while Customs and Excise Magelang initiated a business matching program for potential export-oriented MSMEs. The Head of Counseling and Information Services Section of Customs and Excise Banjarmasin, stated that they have organized an export assistance event attended by MSME enthusiasts from the Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency. This activity demonstrates Customs and Excise Banjarmasin's commitment to fulfilling one of its functions as an industrial assistant by encouraging MSMEs to engage in exports. The event provided as a platform for MSMEs to directly ask questions and discuss regulations, procedures, and tips on how to conduct exports, as well as the preparations and challenges they have encountered thus far.
Customs and Excise Magelang in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance invited MSMEs to participate in online curation and business matching with potential buyers in Malaysia that aims to support and assist MSMEs in marketing their products internationally. The event is a continuation of the catalog delivery conducted by 15 working units in the Ministry of Finance. The invited buyer was Nusantara Fashion House from Malaysia, which currently showcases and sells over 60 Indonesian products, including fashion items, accessories, handicrafts, footwear, as well as coffee and traditional herbal drinks.
