The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop UKM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Maxerman Consulting and Sprout Communication Asia to produce the reality show "Ramp Up Indonesia". By production of the reality show, Kemenkop UKM also collaborates with Bank Indonesia. Deputy Minister of SMEs explained that the collaboration aims to realize Indonesia as the World Modest Fashion Center and Global Halal Hub through the reality show.
This partnership serves as a major support for the IN2MOTION FEST (Indonesia International Modest Fashion Festival), and the reality show is scheduled to premiere in the third quarter of 2023. Deputy Minister of SMEs hopes that this MoU will provide a legal framework for Kemenkop UKM to carry out collaborative activities.
According to the Director of PT Maxerman, in 2023, they aim to make the Ramp Up reality show a sustainable project for the following years. This aligns with the Indonesian government's goal of becoming a significant hub for modest fashion, considering the country's status as home to the largest Muslim population in the world. He also stated how Indonesia should be recognized as a prominent location for modest fashion, especially for the global Muslim community.
