The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) fully supports the launch of the industrial tourism program initiated by the Bekasi Regency Government. Fernandi Ghufron, the Strategic Coordinator and Communication for Natural, Cultural, and Artificial Tourism at Kemenparekraf, commended this innovative program as the first of its kind in Indonesia. He expressed appreciation for the excellent initiative during the launch of the industrial tourism program at Graha Pariwisata on Monday (May 29, 2023).
Fernandi highlighted the brilliance of the industrial tourism concept, considering that Bekasi Regency is home to the largest industrial estate in Southeast Asia, with thousands of companies located there. He praised the Bekasi Regency Government, particularly the Tourism Office, for their exceptional initiative in providing education to students and driving the progress and development of industrial tourism.
Kemenparekraf is wholeheartedly supportive of the program initiated by the Bekasi Regency Government to develop industrial tourism. Fernandi emphasized the importance of collaboration between the local government and all relevant stakeholders in successfully implementing the industrial tourism concept. He outlined three key factors for the effective implementation of industrial tourism: innovation, adaptation, and collaboration, emphasizing the need for collective effort to achieve the program's objectives.
