The Department of Industry of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has partnered with the Indonesian Fashion Certification Institute (LSP Mode Indonesia) to build an ecosystem for the Muslim fashion industry by strengthening the capacity of human resources to meet standardized and certified qualifications. The head of the Department of Industry NTB, Nuryanti, stated that they are collaborating with LSP Mode Indonesia in Bandung to enhance the capacity of human resources through technical guidance on portfolio preparation. The portfolio workshop aims to ensure that the required documents are complete and meet the criteria for professional competency certification, which will be conducted in early June 2023.
Fifteen participants, both in-person and online (hybrid), attended the portfolio workshop. The participants consisted of five individuals from Mataram City, four from West Lombok Regency, four from East Lombok Regency, and two from Bima City. Nuryanti expressed hope that all the participants would successfully pass the competency assessment, enabling them to have good business management skills and engage in continuous production, not limited to specific events. She also emphasized the importance of maintaining focus and professionalism for the development of the creative industry.
The Department of Industry NTB will continue to support and facilitate creative economic actors in registering their intellectual property rights and businesses on the SIMANIS application provided by the NTB Provincial Government. Nuryanti assured that they are ready to assist participants who have yet to obtain copyright for their products.
