Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo announced the release of agricultural exports worth IDR 25.5 billion to 23 countries, including swiftlet nests, duck feathers, animal products, and ferns exported to Japan and China. Emphasizing the need to protect these valuable commodities and maintain international trust, Minister SYL highlighted the importance of quality and synergy among entrepreneurs. The government aims to achieve an export value of 1,000 trillion for agricultural products, expanding to destinations in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
The Head of the Ministry of Agriculture's Agricultural Quarantine Agency, Bambang, praised the round-the-clock efforts of his staff to facilitate export processes and highlighted the positive collaboration between quarantine officers, entrepreneurs, and exporters. The Q Corner application has streamlined quarantine procedures, enabling entrepreneurs to submit licensing documents online and expedite the permit process. Entrepreneurs such as Arga Wiranda from PT Plore Parmindo expressed gratitude for the convenience of online quarantine services and reported significant exports of fern plants to Japan and China.
