The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) is encouraging young entrepreneurs or millennials engaged in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, to continuously improve the quality and competitiveness of their businesses. Arya Sinulingga, Special Staff to the Minister of BUMN, stated that MSMEs should proactively enhance their skills and businesses through active participation in training programs and entrepreneurial activities available at the BUMN House. Sixty millennial entrepreneurs under the auspices of the BUMN House participated in a discussion with Arya Sinulingga as an effort to create networking opportunities among young MSMEs and foster connections, with BUMN committed to supporting active collaboration among young MSMEs and utilizing the BUMN House as a place for mentoring and gathering of young BUMN entrepreneurs, so that they can succeed both domestically and globally.
Sandi Agustinus, owner of Kantan Sasirangan, a fashion business in Banjarmasin, appreciated the attention given by BUMN to the progress of MSMEs, including young MSMEs. He expressed his hope for opportunities to penetrate the national and international markets through networking and knowledge sharing among MSME players. Sandi Agustinus continues to innovate in keeping up with trends, and sees the discussion as a significant opportunity for young entrepreneurs like him to thrive in the competitive business landscape.
