The Jakarta Provincial Government, in collaboration with the Central Government, aims to accelerate economic growth in 2024, as stated by Acting Governor Heru Budi Hartono during the Regional Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang) for the 2024 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) at the Jakarta City Hall. Heru outlined six priority issues for development in 2024, including flood control, traffic congestion management, economic recovery, poverty alleviation, stunting prevention, and strengthening democratic values.
Furthermore, Heru expressed support for the relocation of the Capital City (IKN) and transforming Jakarta into a global city, in accordance with the implementation of Law Number 3 of 2022. To achieve this transformation, Heru emphasized the need to address indices such as extreme poverty, stunting, mass transportation improvement, and traffic congestion reduction. The Musrenbang event was attended by various government officials, experts, organizations, and stakeholders, demonstrating the commitment of Jakarta to progress and development in Indonesia.
