The exhibition and expo entitled ''Xpora International Logistic and Trade Expo 2022'' which was held by Makassar Customs, at the Claro Hotel Makassar Hall, Tuesday-Wednesday (13-14/12), received appreciation from all parties. The event brought together Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in South Sulawesi with buyers, banks, and all parties related to the export process, was able to lift SMEs to become exporters. This success was recognized and appreciated by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno at the opening and the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki at the closing. Present at the activity were Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Governor of South Sulawesi Andi Sudirman Sulaiman, Leaders of the South Sulawesi DPRD, and a number of South Sulawesi officials. ''This program is a breakthrough to lift SMEs into exporters.
The Xpora International Logistics and Trade Expo event will be used as a national model and implemented in other regions, to encourage exports of SME products. This program will be replicated and coordinated with the Indonesian Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati, so that it becomes a national program,'' said the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs, Teten Masduki, at closing. The Xpora International Logistics and Trade Expo 2022 program is an event that brings together SMEs, buyers, banks and parties related to the export process. So far, the Makassar Customs Office has implemented this program to encourage exports of South Sulawesi UKM products. As a result, exports in South Sulawesi in the last year have continued to increase, starting from 26%, 38%, and the last recorded increase was up to 40%. The Xpora International Logistics and Trade Expo program is expected to continue to encourage and increase exports in South Sulawesi.
