Muara Siran Ecotourism was launched by Kukar Regent Edi Damansyah, witnessed by the East Kalimantan Provincial Secretary and other technical regional apparatus organizations (OPD), right at the Muara Siran Ecotourism Floating House. The inauguration was marked by the beating of kentongan, Sunday (11/12/2022). "I am proud and appreciate the management of PT Bara Tabang for their assistance and facilitation through the Ecotourism program and the Construction of Floating Houses on Siran Lake, Muara Siran Village," said Edi Damansyah, appreciating.
According to him, this program is in line with the Kukar Idaman program, especially the transformation of Kukar's economic structure which is based on and dominated by unrenewable mining and quarrying to the renewable sector, especially through the agricultural sector in a broad sense, tourism and the creative economy (ekraf). . Ecotourism and supported by the Lake Siran Floating House in Muara Siran Village is the right choice. "Currently, people, especially in urban areas, are 'thirsty' for nature tourism (ecotourism) including agricultural tourism (agro-tourism) so that it is used as a place for refreshing (vacation). I hope that this facility will be managed properly and professionally so that it can contribute, among others, to employment and including driving the village economy," said Regent Edi. In addition, he continued, it is hoped that the company (PT Bara Tabang) and related technical OPDs (Tourism Service, PMD Service) can carry out institutional development for managing this facility in collaboration with the Muara Siran Village Government.
